Release the Kraken!

I decided a few weeks ago that I really want a job where I get to say, "Release the Kraken!"  You're rolling your eyes on the outside right now, but on the inside your thinking how cool that would be.  Come on, admit it.  You're at work, the pressure's on, stress is building, deadlines are... deadlining.  Suddenly you stand and shout in a commanding voice, "Release the Kraken!"  Talk about a stress reliever! 

I'll let you know if I find a job posting for that.  In the meantime... remember life is good and laughing makes it better!

Thanks, Veronika! I should post the painting I've finished. I have two more that I'm almost done with, but they'll get added as soon as I'm done.

Some days are exciting and easy, other days find me laying on the floor of my studio while the painting taunts me. I'm finding the important thing is to keep showing up in there whether or not any paint makes it on to the paper.

I'm so glad I stumbled across here, read through your posts and can feel the excitement you must be going through right now pursuing your dream. I hope you post more of your drawings, I like what I've seen so far :)
